NNEI
National Nursing Education Initiative
The agency has setup an incentive program for nurses who hold diplomas and/or two year degrees to continue their education and obtain a four year degree in nursing. If a nurse as a bachelors degree in nursing, he or she will qualify for advancement.
Tuition Support
Full time Veteran Affairs jobs also offer tuition support for those who are currently attending an accredited college with a nursing program. Funding is provide for courses that are pre-requisites to higher level courses.
